After the great battle in Deva TD, where the demonic horde invaded the heavens, the gods united their powers and emerged victorious, restoring peace once more. But as time passed, a new conflict began to brew—this time, not from demons, but from within the gods themselves.

Two opposing ideals arose:

• One faction believed a powerful army must be created to prepare for any future threats.
• The other faction insisted such measures were unnecessary, trusting that the strength of the gods alone was more than enough to protect the heavens.

What began as a difference in belief soon grew into an irreconcilable divide. To prevent this ideological clash from escalating into a full-blown civil war, the gods agreed to settle the dispute through a grand duel.

Both sides summoned their elite warriors—known as the Wardens—to fight in their stead. Through strategic battles with divine cards, the victor would claim the right to decide the fate of heaven itself.

And thus begins a new legend—Devares: The Divine Deck Duel.
